Compression ratio?
Whats the Compression ratio for the CTD's? Someone on chat said that Cummins has a higher compression ratio but I thought PSD had the higher cause of the V shape. I know Ford 7.3L is 18:1 or 18.5:1. The new 6.0L is 17:1. I would think Cummins is lower cause all they have to do is go straight down. Please correct me if Im wrong.

SD03

Re:Compression ratio?
SD03: As said before the CR does not depend on the configuration- V or R or star or whatever.
CR is the ratio between the volume above the piston when the piston is all the way down and the piston at TDC.

AlpineRAM
