Question comparison (opinions needed)

I am looking at putting the power to my 08 when I get home. To many peoples better judgement, the emissions are probably going to fall off too. The biggest thing I am having problems with is deciding if I should go with an Edge Juice with attitude or the Bully Dog PMT? I am going to need a box that clears codes on startup with the deletes. I also want something that will give more power. The other thing I am trying to figure out is will either or both of the boxes stack with an MP-8? I appreciate any help here, and already know im probably going to get flamed over my decision to void the warranty on a $57K truck.

What ever programmer you decide on, both are good products. I have the PMT and stack MP-8 with it. I can clear the codes also as I believe Edge has the same feature.

The edge has more options, a like turbo timer for one.

why not wait a few months for smarty for 6.7 so you can keep your warranty. Since the truck is a dodge you will probably need your warranty....(Just Kidding, Sorta....) Or you could talk to your dealer and see if there is any chips/programmers that he will OK, so are Ok with it

Well currently I am in Iraq, so it will be at least October next year before I can put anything on. I was planning on buying parts one piece at a time until I get back so it is all there waiting on me. I had a smarty on my 06 and loved it, however, I still am not sure it will be out by the time I plan on modding my truck. Not to mention with the edge or pmt, it will clear the soft codes on start up and also has gauges built in, so I dont have to listen to my wife complain that she cant see around the gauges like she did in my 06. Im really feeling things out right now.

There are DPF delete kits that don't have the code problems anymore. They have foolers that keep the codes at bay. I'd wait for a better power module to come out. Just MHO.

I vote for the full GDP EGR Delete Kit and wait for smarty...especially if you have time....worst comes to worst, if the smarty's not out, you can still go the Edge / PMT route...the EGR Delete Kit makes sense in either case.
