Comp Vs. Juice

What are the difference between the edge comp box and the juice? I read somewhere that the comp gives you more h.p and torque. Is that true? I have the juice and i am very pleased with it. Just wanted to know the difference between the two.

The only real differences are that the juice/attitude has guages and the cool down timer. The Comp has the same power and levels, but it doesn't have guages and you can unplug the MAP sensor to get it to fuel at 0lb of boost. Most people buy the comp when they want mechanical guages or when they want a less expensive programmer.

So it sounds like it all comes down to if you want mechanical gauges or the digital ones on the moniter. After you pay for the price of guages it would be almost as much as the juice/additude.

The comp was what was available for 2nd gen 24v before the Juice/Attitude was designed to fit our 24v's. That said, the recent Edge programming I've seen does not seem to me to be as aggressive as the older programs regardless of j/a or comp. That may be why you are hearing that the Comp is more powerful than J/A.

If you have mechanical gauges already there is no major reason to go with the juice/attitude vs the comp. The J/A does have a nice feature in the built in cool down timer though.
