what is it comp.or drag comp.?

I bought my comp. off e-bay last year to up grade my e-z and was under the impression it was just stock .The other day I was out running her hard to see if I had fixed my wire tap problem that was giving me codes I noticed I could run the rpm's up to 3200! I thought 2800 was the end? but have never really watched be fore now So guys what have I got ? Thanks

I'm pretty sure that the 24 valve will go to 3200 rpm stock. mine will rev that high too

It's just a matter of how hard the box fuels up high. The drag comp keeps fueling hard 3200-3400 I believe.

With an EZ or comp the truck will fuel hard to 2700 rpms, but with the drag comp it will fuel hard to 3200. If you don't feel the power dropping of at 2700 rpms then it must be the drag comp.

Ph4tty my truck has lots of power up to 3200 and feels like it could go more .It shocked me when I saw I was up that high and closing in on red line so I let off and have not tried it agine. Maybe I do have a drag comp.!

Flip the box over, there should be a Hot Version sticker and a date on which it was done if it is a Drag Comp.

Tate There is two stickers 1 says its the 8.0 version with years it fits,2nd has a scanable bar code ,says warranty void if removed. I dont see nothing about hot on it ?

My drag comp had two stickers, one which said Hot Version, and the years it fit. Pictures of it are on my other computer. Sounds like the reg comp to me.

Call Edge and have them run the serial number. No more guessing.....
