:-[I have an 01 2500. I just recently bought a comp box. After inital install truck would crank and crank befor starting. Once it started it ran like a MOEFO. Took box off started just fine. Called edge told me it was lift pump. Took to dealer replaced they replaced lift pump. Sent comp back to edge, and they sent me a new one out. Installed the new box and started right up but didn't run like a MOEFO. Next morning didn't want to start again. Called edge again and they told me to disconect pump wire and it started right up. They are sending me another box out. I hope this solves the problem, but Im not confident that it will. Any suggestions??? It almost seems like the pressure is letting off after it sits for a while. I also wanted to know if the Holly black replaces the stock carter lift pump. I know enough to be dangerous, and anu help would be appreciated.

 

I would guess the ******* doesn't have a tight seal on one of the lines and its loosing its prime my truck had that prob I had a banjo that was loose and it was loosign prime.

 

I see you have two gauges, is one of them a fuel pressure gauge?What is the pressure?<br>Are you using the correct wire at the pump?<br>

 

Yes I am using the correct wire, top wire closest to the engine. what does the other wire do? I have a transmission guage, and a boost guage. If my lift pump is bad can I replace it with the Holley Black I have been reading so much about.
