Common rail exhuast
i just bought this truck and im considering doing some type of exhuast, its a 06.
is there anyway to make it sound less common raily? This truck sounds more like a generator motor and im going for the big rig sound like you got out of the older 24vs

24V exhaust manifold helps the most, but they are not a direct swap...some minor fab work is required. Search this forum as there are several threads directed at this very subject.
There are some muffler swaps and delete pipes out that help deepen the tone some, but they are "raspy" by nature.
If you step up to the 5" exhaust is will sound like a gigantic ricer and drone real bad...but some enjoy it!
