Commander Translator Module Beta Opinions

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am not sure how else to put this. We are getting close to doing some beta testing on some of the other modules that the Commander can control. I say close when I really mean we are ready but, we have to build the wiring harness adapters first.

So, with that said I really do not have a good way to determine which modules we should do first. I am wanting to know which modules the customer base would prefer to see.

I am posting a poll and you can only choose 1 at this time. Based on percentages we are going to do them in order of this poll and probably a couple of other surveys we are going to do.

Here is what you will get and what it will do:

Translator Module
Adapter Harness
Software will be on the website to update your Commander for the correct module

You can change Power Levels on the Fly on the Commander
See which level you are currently in
Set multiple Parameters to De-fuel the Module
Add Cold Engine protection to the temperature of your choice.

Quad, just a sugestion but the mp8 had the **** like your box to control it, just a thought. Seems like the juice may make the most sense.

I dont think I would even bother with the Banks stuff. Anyone thats buyin Quadzilla stuff knows better than to run a 6 gun.

Yes but, we can add automatic defueling and cold engine protection.
On the MP-8 we are having it set at 10 levels instead of 1% increments. Doing this makes it easier to know which setting you are actually on and you can return to the best setting exactly. Also with 10 seting is breaks them down in pretty small increments.

Pretty much all of the modules listed have a switch this just lets them add a stand alone monitor for the things listed above.

The big thing with the Banks Dodge stuff is that Banks stuck it to a lot of customers with the 6gun. If you bought one a while back it cannot be upgraded to be used with the PDA. So knowing that we just added them to the list. Now they can keep their $700-$800 module and still have the built in protection that the PDA would have given them.

Quad, while I still think my mind was in the right direction you have proven me wrong and I think that is a great idea about the mp8. That would/should make tuning much easier, good thinkin Quad.

Timeframe.....................well, that is not really my decision right now. Could be 2 months, 6 months, 1 year????? Lots of details being worked out. I presume it will be sooner than later. Details have been worked on since SEMA.

With all of the emails and pm's I get about this, I am really suprised you guys are not more opinionated??

I have had as many pm's in the last week about controlling various modules as people that voted on this.

I'm not sure! I was expecting to see a lot more votes. I run the Dr P so that is what I voted for.

I've only had my [diesel] truck for six months, so I'm fairly new to most of this stuff, but I voted for the Dr. P module. I think it should work pretty good with Smarty, and I should have my Commander later this week.

Quad,

Anyway the Commander can control the Triple Dog? It sure would be nice to have the safety features available, especially cold start and EGT defueling. I want to try stacking my Std. module with the Triple Dog since I have both.
