tranny temps have stopped registering. acted wierd yesterday. temp would spike to nomral operating temps- then when i stopped it would automatically go back down to 104 degrees (immediately) today is was 70 degrees and on the way to work and back (50 total miles) the temp never moved off of 104!! plus the top left hand corner of the screen seems darker than the rest. any ideas?? bad probe?? yes- i have emailed quadzilla twice yesterday (could not call from work) no response yet. this is my second commander (only four months old) the first one had to be replaced. i also can"t really set any of the functions- i am running the edge juice. which the cable isn't available yet. the reason i bought the commander in november because the cable was to be available the first of the year-still waiting for that!

sorry to hear that you're on your second commander. I love mine. I'm still waiting for them to upgrade to a turbo timer.

I know that this might sound a little obvious, but did you check the wiring harness connections? also check your connection at the probe on the tranny. I'm assuming that you drive enough to get the trans up to temp to get a reading from the probe. So once you have the trans fully warm, shut it off & check the ohm reading from ground to the signal end of the trans probe. The I would check it like a 1/2 hour later to see if the reading changed. I'm not sure if the reading will go up or down.

Otherwise you're going to have to get a hold of quad. They're really good with helping. I've have other issue that I thought might be Quad related, & they did everything they could to help. I would have to say that they are the best when it comes to Customer Service.
