Commander Fuel Pressure Kits are here!
Well, sort of!
We recieved a totally un-expected shipment of a bunch of transducers today. We were not really expecting them until sometime after the first of the year!
The bad news is that our wiring harnesses are not due here until next Tuesday or Wednesday.
So, long story short, our order forms should be up on the web by the end of the day. Once you order them we will call you back and give you a RMA# to put on your shipping package so it goes to the right deparment when it gets here. We should be able to turn these around the same day we recieve them.
Pricing and detail should be on the order form.
If we left anything out or if you have questions please let me know.
Right now we have a large amount of them but, no an unlimited supply! If you want one, the faster you get them to us the better.

This is good but, it requires you send your Commander in here because we have to perform some minor hardware updates to make it work. The order form has some good info in it.
These transducers require you to supply them with power and ground as well so it does not matter where you install them. We have made the kit super nice and super simple to install once you get it back from us.

These are for the Commander and Adrenaline only. When we come up with something for the RP gauge I will let everyone know. It may not even be possible.
The Recons and RP gauges do not have the issues the Commander and Adrenalines have because they are 5v systems giving us a lot more resolution to work with. The Commander and Adrenalines are 3.3v systems and it compresses the maps severely.
Sure, there are some of the FP sending units that are just bad but, overall they are fine provided they get grounded and are not screwed into anodized fittings or in an area where they are not grounded such as in a FASS pump.
The problems are that with some vibration the needle inside the sending units move just a little and it cause he gauges to jump because they are more sensitive being at 3.3v.
If you have one not working you need to send it in so we can send a warranty replacement.

What is the turn around time to get the Commanders re-programmed?
The way Christmas falls puts a little kink in the system as we are close on Christmas Eve through the rest of the week.

I hate to talk bad, but this to me means I am done.
I am a huge Quad fan, I bought the race chip, then added the commander, then the fuel pressure kit, then the X2 upgrade.
I have bought 4 sending units from Quad, each time 10$ each.
Now "the fix" is for me to spend another 45$ to hopfully have it fixed.
I understand nothing is free, but how much money do I have to throw at a product that never worked right from the start.

I do understand if you buy something with warranty, it should be warrantied but........ It's because you are paying $45.00 for a $100 sensor so really, do the math.... Autometer sells the same type of sensor for $120.00. The Quadzilla one's that were failing are around $25.00 so is really paying $45.00 a big deal when you spend thousands on diesel performance goodies?? Not taking any sides but my original Quadzilla $25.00 fuel pressure sensor has worked since day 1 and that was quite some time ago. I'm sure some won't like this post but it's just my .02....
