Cometic MLS gasket?

Is anyone running one? they are available on Cometics website, im doing my head right now and this would work out great as I wont have to O-ring the head, but I hear that block and head have to be perfect for it to seal, the head is ok but im not sure how to correctly prep the block, they also have the Phuzion gasket as well but its still in testing, Im ready to order I would just like to hear some feedback, Thanks.

I think the MLS gasket you would still have to run 0-rings with. The Phuzion gasket has the gas filled o-rings in it that doesn't require you to 0-ring your head. I think they give you specs on their site about how much your block can varry. You could probably take a metal straight edge, lay it front to back on the block, stick a feeler gauge between it and the block and check for any warping. Then repeat the process from corner to corner, diagonally across the block. I think theres a guy on TDR (DHauk?) running a Phuzion gasket on his truck. Its a p-pumped 24v, and hes running 85-90psi of boost with 12mm head studs torqued to 150ft lbs.

NO need for O-rings with the MLS gasket. The whole point of a nice gasket like this is to eliminate the need for extra headwork to get it to seal.

The thin is you want a REALLY good finish on the head and block decks. MLS gaskets need s nice SMOOOTH surface to seal to. If you can shave in the reflectin, you got it almost right
