Colibert Hitches

Anyone know a dealer for the Colibert "Good 2 Go" gooseneck hitch? I've been told I need the 246 mounting hardware and the 206 screw in ball and chain plate for my '07 MegaCab.

Any dealer around me is retarded and needs a smack in the head for the prices they want.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm.............

No one on this entire site has one of these?: http://colibert.com/products/index.a...%7E206%7EFalse

I'm interested in this over a B&W as it's just simpler and less apt to issues from snow and ice around here.

Sorry I'm not a lot of help but there is a dealer in Airdire, I looked at that hitch before I bought my B&W, but I would Highly reccomend the B&W, mine has worked great, I will buy another on the next truck, the screw in type just seemed silly Frankly.

The ball and safety chain plate screw in, and is completely removed when not required and a plug put in place. A smaller hole in the bed is required, no additional holes are required for safety chains, and I wouldn't have to drill any holes in my fender liner for a lever - which is good for accidental contact with tire chains -- 9 out of 10 times I have to chain up to get into hunting / fishing camp. For my purposes, it is just simpler in design and would be less apt to be problematic.

B&W is good. Don't get me wrong. Just like simpler for my pruposes.

Hmmmmmmmmmm. These guys have been in business for years. Yet, I'm not sure how according to the DTR representative sample population of the whole of whom apparently don't have one or know where to get them.

I'm stumped.

Festus,

Have you looked into Pullrite bed hitches? Their no-drill underbed mounting system for our trucks is outstanding.
This leaves a completely clean bed when the hitch is out.

With their system, one can remove the 5th wheel hitch & drop in a gooseneck plate & pin.

I have a Pullrite Superglide & while these are expensive the quality is outstanding....

Just a thought... Joe

This place in Airdrie stocks and installs the Collibert.

I lookedat them before I bought my B&W elsewhere, it seemed like a Mickey Mouse Setup to me.

But if that isthe hitch your heart is set on there is a dealer in AB.

If you call the manufacturer maybe they can give you the name of a dealer closer to Edmonton.

I believe I got mine at Airdrie truck accesories and I think it was about $700 installed.

The Colibert from East Side was cheaper than what they wanted for a B&W at the time, this was aout 1.5 years ago.
