cold weather codes?

Has any one ever had trouble with a code comming up in cold weather only? Last year when it was below 45 degrees I always had code 2127 hit. (Pedal validation switch or throttle position sensor) I said then that I thought it was cold weather related and talked to two different dodge dealers and they said it shouldnt happen just because of temperature being colder. Well...this morning in was in the low 40's - and low and behold - it coded 2127. It hasnt hit since back in march or april - so I gurantee its a cold weather issue. Anyone else have this code or any other code hit during colder weather only?

Can that sensor be removed and maybe some Electrical Grease might help it. Cold weather makes plastic, metal, etc, do strange things.

Good question. Last year when I was talking with the dealers I asked where it was and they both said bring it in. I never had time and then warm weather hit and I never worried about it again. Anyone know where pedal validation switch or throttle position sensor is?

You might try doing an "apps reset." It's free and easy to do.

Kinda sounds like your apps (accelerator pedal position sensor) is just slightly out of range when the temps drop. The apps is on the top, front driver's side of the engine just above the injection pump. Mine is covered with black plastic. However, with luck the apps reset procedure will solve the problem and you won't even need to find the apps or mess with it directly.
