codes p0483 & p0514

I have a 03 with two codes, one is p0483 is that a faulty fan clutch? I also have a code p0514, my Haynes manual says battery temperature sensor rationality. Is that a bad battery or sensor? thanks for any info.

I get the p0514 every winter. Mainly due to having subzero temps and plugging the truck in with a battery pad. I ignore it as most do, up here anyways. The p0483 could mean the fan clutch going bad or the wiring is bad. Take a look at the wiring first. Or it could be nothing and related to the same thing asthe battery temp sensor.
