Code help PLEASE
Hi Guys
My truck threw these 3 codes tonight P 1652 P 0243 and P 0480 after picking it up from having the remote starter and alarm put in. I had the Viper 791XV 2-Way Security and Remote Start System installed by a DEI certified installer put them in that has put them in alot of 3rd gen trucks. When I picked the truck up i noticed the check engine light was on and the installer told me it was on when he started the truck. I said I did not think so but he said take it to the dealer and if they said the alarm was the problem to bring it back. Can someone tell me what the codes are please to save me a trip to the dealer

I couldn't find the p1652
p0243 turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid
p0480 fan1 control circuit.
wonder if they took it for a test drive. If I have to leave my truck with a shop I always write down my milage, then ask when I pick it up if they took it for a test drive.

I had a not so nice install done on my truck too last weekend. I had a compustar 2 way remote starter installed and noticed that it doesn't de-activate the alarm when I use the key fob they gave me and it will not start in the morning because of low voltage to the tach signal that the starter reads to see if it has started.. The sucky thing is I can't get it back to them untill november 12th. $600.00 and it doesn't even work I am a little disappointed too.

Wow you guys must have horrible install techs working on your rigs. I do these things for a living and know how bad they are to install. Just makes me cringe when a nice truck gets messed up by a poor installer!!
