coat hanger hook

My coat hanger hook on the headliner behind the seat keeps working it's way loose. anybody have any suggestions to fix it for good?

I haven't looked at the thing lately so you will have to forgive me if I am wrong, but I think it is held in there by a screw. Take the screw out put some red lock tight on it and screw it back in. Maybe this would work?

i don't think the screw is the trouble, it's the square plastic insert.

I find the hook is a most unsatisfactory device. I mounted two small braided cable loops on each side to secure a clothes bar. Much better set up - a hanging coat does not block the view from the rear view mirror. pajenn

You might be able to "rebuild" it with something like JB Weld and a small mold. Then file/sand to fit.

forget that one..just make a new hook with something and screw it on...take one off ur shower curtain
