co-pilot track times

Well i forgot to turn my co-pilot on at the track for my first run yesterday(12.9) and then ran again with it of to see the difference (12.86) and my final run i turned it on down low like normal and hit a 12.37. Looks like this thing is good for 1/2 a second!

It is amazing how good they work. I am really hoping that they will have my valve body built for me to let my use mine this weekend coming up.

Does the Co pilot keep the converter locked while switching gears? I thought that was bad for the tranny? I've been wanting to get one, but I was afraid of busting my 7K goerend tranny. Please explain how the co pilot works for racing and everyday driving..

I really like my NADP tranny, good service. Yes it keeps it locked as far as I can tell. Thats why you need to have the billet stuff. It is a ride when it is locked in second, the pull is amazing. I turn mine up a little for everyday driving, (the speed that it locks everything up) and I turn off the overdrive around town. No problems otherwise.

So pretty much other than the speed feature, a lockup switch does the same thing???

I see TS has somethin like this now too.

It will also lock on deceleration for towing, as well as auto lock when you shift to second(i think). It also monitors your throttle position, speed etc... to decide when it should be locked and most important when to unlock it!

Been wandering about the co-pilot as well. Will it work with a stock tranny? I am planning on a fully built tranny as soon as I have the extra money, just thought if I could buy this much now, it would lessen the bill shock to my wife. Any drawbacks to the co-pilot?
