OK ok i know southbend is the way to go but i dont have the deepest pocket book either.So who else makes a good clutch that will hold pretty decent power? I have the mods that are in my sig will be adding a FASS this week and then the next thing i will do is a turbo. Oh yea and possibly puttin water/meth on before the turbo. So any ideas?

valair inc clutch.. I have run their clutch for a second gen without any major issues. Great customer service, and an even better price.... Mines held over 500 horses no issues...

DO NOT toss a centerforce in your truck, do yourself that favor. I threw one out in 15K miles, empty with nothing in tow! Centerforce clutches are designed to be higher RPM clutches, IE the higher the RPMS the better that they grab, Since our torque monsters are not HIGH rpms, well the clutch wont last very long at all....

I just took a Center Force dual friction out of my truck and it is now in the classifieds. It worked just fine for a truck that was stock or a little over (box or small sticks) I was very happy with it and had no complaints, but I am going for more power out of my truck and that is why I put the SB DD 3250 12 CB. A little insurance for the future

OK i dont know a whole lot about clutches so which one would be better?

Spring Ceramic/Ceramic 3400# Plate Load 600Hp/1100Tq

Spring Iron/Iron 3400# Plate Load 600Hp/1050Tq

There is about $200 difference in the two. Will one hold up better than the other or what?

Valair is an awsome cluch, my buddy has on in his '96, and he has about 425hp, and he hauls 15,000 daily for work, i helped him put it in just before Christmas, and it is still awsome

My Valair clutch was $225 and I love it, so the better higher end Valair clutches have to be some really nice stuff.

Its mainly a daily driver sometimes pull a small trailer. Then just go to the drag strip everyonce in a while. I actually just talked to a guy and after i get the clutch i could be gettin a twin setup. So do yall think with the bigger clutch supposed to be 600hp that it will handle what i have now plus twins and water/meth?

The OFe will have a lot better manners than the full Fe. I've got a full feramic racing clutch in my car and it's on its second flywheel. Chewed up the first one pretty good.
