what clutch would fit the the purpose
I have a 2005 dodge 2500 quad cab 4x4 with straight exhaust, rokk timing sensor, afe stage 2, and the smarty. I plan to eventually maybe add injectors and a turbo. I use my truck for daily driving, farm use/general towing/hauling duties and to pull my enclosed quad trailer and camping supplies. My factory clutch is starting to slip every once and awhile under hard accel. It is getting hard to put in gear sometimes when at traffic lights too. I'm starting to get the feeling it is going to need replaced soon. What clutch would you recommend for good all around use. I like to drag with my buddies and mess around with people on the road every once awhile too.
Thanks for the help.

Doesnt a dual disc make the truck drive funny with trailers and such. like not so smooth and what not. I had an 01 with a mcleod dual disc and it was kinda quirky. if I would have got the full on pulling clutch they said I would have to make a swith for a 2wd low range just to back up trailers and such. that would be kinda dumb I think

I mailed Southbend and told him I tow an 8k+ trailer and I like to floor it often (superchips). I also told him my wife must be able to drive it, she could not hang with the heavy feramic I had in the last truck. He suggested the springy dual disc with the lightest pressure plate he has. It is not cheap ($1800). I was thinking the OFE single G56 conversion (like $1100?-I think). If you have the NVG 5600 in your 2005, it will be cheaper because you don't need a flywheel. But I figure I should save up more & do it once. If it did fry completely today though, I would have to get the single for financial reasons.

I had the south bend ofe and I could slip the clutch real bad when I had the smarty on level 9 and 100 hp injector. I would go ahead get the a dual disc or a Con Fe.
