Is there a clutch that will clamp my ponies down at full boost, will last a good while, and that doesn't cost a fortune? I drive this truck at least 100 miles a day stop and start, and (being a weak man) occasionally humiliate a rustang or rice blinger. A full boogie "on or off" beast clutch would get expensive on drive line parts (as it is I'm replacing the u-joints every year!) but I don't want a panzy soft clutch that won't last.
Am I asking too much?

South Bend Clutchs CON-O is good for 400 RWHP - I've run one on my '93 for about 50,000 mi and love it - check my sig for mods. It is a smooth strong clutch which eliminated my launch shudder. You won't find better customer service than Peter at SBC. I had a chance to talk with him at Piers in Sept of '04 and he now has an awsome (strong) looking pilot bearing for our trucks.

Thanks Bob. I think I am making just under your power, so that's a great tip.
Which Con-O did you get?
