clutch slipping or tubro can't expell enought exhaust

Ok got a new SBC 3600 with the 12 button. less than 2k on it so far. Have issue i can't figure out. I took about 500 miles of no chip and all i have is the tst and a mild program on it. Have been dialing it in for best drivablity. The new clutch hold much higher setting than the stocker but here is the issue. if the anything above 5 by 5 on the tst and punching it from any rpm, it will start to accelerate then appears to stall, like the clutch is slipping. It feels like it did on the stock clutch when it would slip.

On the stocker i could see the tach start to increase while speedo just sits where ever it was at when it started to slip. No when i look at the tack and i get this stall it does't appear the tack or the speedo are really moving but the go pedel is on the floor.

Trying to watch those to and the pyro and the boost is next to impossible so i try to watch just them seperate and and i see the egt go up 200-300 degree from where i was at when i punched it. Boost will got up about 10lbs then they both pause till it starts going again either from letting of the pedel to get thins to go or just on it own. when it goes the boost will drop about 5 lbs and the egt will go to 1200 then the boost shoot to 25. i still have the stock waste gate accuator at 24 lbs.

So if any of this making sense is the stall i'm feeling the mighty south bend clutch or is my stock turbo not able to expell the amount of gas and heat the tst is adding the motor simply can't accellerate any more till the gasses clear.

Thanks.

I think your lift pump is not keeping up to what your cp3 is pulling (fuel).

Or your draining the rail with the tst set on 5 on the torque setting. Turn it back down to 2 or so.

Get a rail pressure gauge and a low presure fuel gauge to see which one is draining first.

I've run high settings on the torque before on the stock turbo but you don't get any more power.....unless you have a modded CP3. I found 2 on the TE settings is the max...to leave enough fuel to run higher Power levels. I could run 8/2 on the stock turbo before smarty....with smarty 2/0. Set the defuel to 1350 degrees and leave it on and set the boost limit to 36 psi. You need a boost elbow also. If you aren't making 36psi of boost than you won't be able to run over 4/2 if that. To run these settings you need your fuel delivery system holding 12psi solid on good volume. I run 25 to 30psi on my FASS to keep the CP3 cool. ks

Dummy me

So no way the clutch is slipping all motor now. I also forgot to up date my sig and include i have a gdp 392 pump in it. No guage but they said it is set at 17 and from what i read with just a tst i shouldn't be drawing more than it can supply. so the rest how to be dialing in the tst. thanks for the help will keep the tourque down and see if that stops it. Time for some pressure guages.
