Clutch Question
My truck is completely stock with the exception of a mega cannon- My question is that my clutch is not slipping, but chattering out of first and second gears and it has a squeaking noise when in reverse and when in first I let off of the throttlewith out engaging the clutch it has the same squeaking noise. Any explination would be greatly appreciated.

Re:Clutch Question
Sounds like the throw out bearing needs replacing, this will give you the squeaking noise. Also the pilot bearing may need replacing. The clutch may engage off-center giving you a vibration. Try pushing the clutch in and relase and see if the vibration goes away or changes. If it does then it is a pilot bearing that needs a replacement.
It's one of those jobs that take $500 for a $5.00 part.
