Clutch problems

My clutch is starting engage a different spots, and pedal is starting to feel wierd. Almost like spongy, and sometimes i can't get it to go in reverse or any gear at a dead stop. When i shift while driving, it doesn't grind any gears, it is just starting to go in gear a little harder than normal. Sometimes the pedal doesn't return all the way, or with as much pressure. There is no fluid leaking that i can tell, and the resiviore (sp) is full. Are my slave and clutch cylinders starting to go, or is the problem more than likely in the clutch itself? I think it is the clutch cylinders, but i don't want to just replace parts hoping to get lucky. Any thoughts?

It sounds like it is time for a new clutch master cyl.

My clutch started feeling herky jerky and making a slight squeaking sound. Kinda like a rubber sound and feel. Also, changing gears got a little stiffer. I was about to buy a new master and slave but thought I might as well give it a shot and see if there's anything I can do before I spend $300. So I depressed the clutch about half way, pulled the starter safety switch away, pulled the cap away from the master, and sprayed some PB Blast lubricant in there. Surprisingly, not only did the slight noise go away but all clutch feel was regained. I did it again a few days later just to assure myself that it was fully lubricated and all has been well since.
Not saying this is a fix for everyone but it worked for me.....or at least until I need a new one.
