clutch problems

clutch problems

i have a sbc 3600 12cb dd in a 06 g56 trans and the clutch has locked up up so i cant put it in gear all the fluids are there and i still have peddle pressure,clutch has has been in for right around 5-6 months and has about 5k for milage any ideas what it could be?

You mean the peddle won't lift the clutch? I am not sure if peddle pressure means both the master and slave cyl's are good?

my SB single disk(350 hp rating)is shot after 3 months and 16,500 miles on a stock 06',and i just talked to Relentless Diesel they called SB and told me it had a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty so i'm SOL.

if you put a hydraulic helper on with that clutch,,,and im sure you did,,,,at the back of the clutch pedal,,,it should be adjustable,,,,its kinda far up there behind your pedal,,,thread it both in and out and try it both ways,,,,that should workcause ive gotta mess w mine all the time,,,and if thats a stock clutch,,,,youll have to take your slave cylinder out to release the pressure,,,its on the driver side bell housing,,
