Clutch Hydro Upgrade Q's...
Well, I just got done installing the SBC 3850 street comp clutch this weekend, but unfortunately I have not been able to get it out of the garage yet. When I attempted to install the upgraded hydro set up from Southbend, everything fit, and lined up well....EXCEPT the master rod is about 1 1/2 - 2 inches to long, and will not, under any circumstances fit on the clutch pedal bushing. The master rod is adjustable, but its adjusted all the way down? Has anyone ever had this problem? Is it possible they sent me the wrong hydro kit?? I'm so fustrated...so close to being done, yet all of a sudden so far away...

You got the wrong unit. The one you got is for the 24 valve. Call us.
