Red face Clutch Break-in?

How long did it take for your SouthBend CON "O" to wear in and stop grabbing?
I`ve put about 150mi.s on it and towed today for the first time, and it shakes and breaks the tires loose in grass or gravel, just chatters on pavement. It holds the power just fine. I see where it says "200mi.s of city driving for a Hi Performance clutch" But I did`nt think the "O" clutches were considered High Performance?
Fresh flywheel, and nice clean parts. So I know its not oil or faulty peices.

Mine still grabs on release alittle and kicks gravel, i've put about 600 miles on mine, but it's a valair. It seems to be smooting out alot though, so give ur's about 500 or so miles.

hummm sorry to but in here but I am kinda at a stand still, here, My stock clutch is some what of it's last leg . it slips way to much empty and have to watch it towing. I am thinking of putting the south bend con fe 13 1.25. in there when it finally goes or I decided to make it go. well I am unsure when to do it as I have a road trip out too utah end off nexted month. I will be empty going out there towing a vw golf back . not wanting the bad habits of break in what do you guys think. thanks cmf

it's not bad enough to stop you from daily driving, it just won't be perfectly smooth engaging for alittle. No matter what clutch u get, it will be alot better then a slipping stock one, lol, so don't worry about the break in period.

My con O has about 500 miles on it, and it's really starting to settle in now. It still chatters a small amount on take off at times (if you try to slipp it too much), but man, does that baby grab and go once it locks up!
