clutch acting funny

my clutch is acting funny, no problems driving the truck at all, but the cluthc pedle goes soft from time to time or just wont come back up in position between gears??? whats up with this

try bleeding the hydraulics

Or you need new hydraulics.
Look at southbend. they have pre assembled slave/master setups. about 250 dollars.

The factory hyd. unit is a sealed design meaning you can't add fluid. Try pumping it 4-6 times and see if this returns it to normal. If it does you probably need a new hydraulic unit.

i was gonna go to south bed hydo's when i went with a southbend clutch, i was trying to save some money for that first though... ****.. and as for pumping the pedel do i have to have the truck running ?? thanks for the help guys

I just priced the entire set up for my truck from my local Dodge Dealer. Less than $200.00.

i dont want to run the stock stuff again though, i want to go to an uograded clutch to hold more power. when i put the injectors in it will definitly over power the stock stuff
