Clearing codes on a 1995 12V

I have a 1995 12V and I am wondering how to clear codes from the computer. I am getting a code 12 - battery disconnected, and a code 24 - throttle position too high/low.

I checked the TPS voltage and it was way too low. I adjusted it to 0.8 volts at rest but still have the code 24. Do I need to disconnect the batteries or should the code clear itself? I know the code 12 will clear itself after 50 key on/off cycles. Maybe I still need to increase the TPS voltage. I read here that the recomended voltage is between 0.8 and 1.2 volts at rest so I thought I would start at the lowest setting and work my way up.

Thanks!

To reset the codes, just disconnect both grounds for a while. I think that resetting it should take care of the code.

Can't remember the exact number but the codes also reset after 50-60 key on/off cycles.
