Classic Blue ILLEGAL in California!!!
I called my local Napa and tried to Order the Valvoline CLassic premium blue ( CI4+) stuff. I was told that it did not meet the current Emission standards for California as it had too much sulfer content. Therefore I could not order or get it!!! Is this a crock or what??? I called the Valvoline headquarters and they told me they have never heard such a thing!!! Anybody have an online source to order it?

liberal tree huggers- they want to control every aspect of your life!!! what you drive. what oil you use, etc. i read a few months back that california actually tried to pass a law trying to tell their residents what they could set their home thermostats on (temp wise)-in the winter and summer. surprising it was defeated- but i am sure it will come back for a revote!!

You guys in Cali. need to sell your house and move out of state where you can get stuff at almost 1/3 less in cost. Just had a new neighbor move in 2 doors down the street from me and couldn't believe the money he got for his cracker box in California.

Come on, we all know that sulfur in motor oil is bad. .01% may get past the rings and 99.9% gets burnt up. And if there was 100 billion motors running around the clock it would only be 1 trillion years before acid rain started.
Geeze!!!!!!!!!!!!

roperteacher, go to john deere, and get some jd PLUS 50 15w40. Its ci4 rated still. I would imagine ci4 oil is allowed in off road vehicles, like your dodge.
