Class v trailer hitch

Can you install the class v hitch with the oem in position? I have removed mine because my rear bumper has a 10" drop and couldn't use the oem hitch, so does the class V sit a little lower than the oem? I need it to drop maybe a couple more inches then oem.

Thanks in advance

My class V Reese Titian sits about the same height as the factory one, a little lower because of the 2 1/2 inch receiver, but mines a 2001 so not sure on yours.

Well on this link there's an illustration of the hitch in position.

does that look about right? If it drops that much from oem, I can definitely use it.

If the drawings are to scale, then the Curt Class V would end up about 4" lower than the OEM hitch. Center-to-Center.

I put a class 5 on my truck, it bolted up right under the factory hitch. I'd say 3-4" lower.
It solved my issues with too light of a recvr and the height with too much of a drop. I was using a 6" drop before I did this. I now use a 2" and trailer is level when hooked up.

Mine is for sure different. If yours is like that it looks like it would work.
