I know that Jet-A is basiclly diesel with anti-iceing additives. Can Jet-A by mixed with diesel #2 and burned in a diesel pickup? A buddy of mine, who is a crewchief on Blackhawks, says that they run JP-8 (or was that A) and that it is the same as civilian Jet-8 with out the anti-iceing additives. He also says they DO run that fuel on the Humves and other diesel powered vehicles.
So is it possible to burn the Jet-A in diesel pickups? I'm really just trying to dispose of 1,500 gals of the Jet-A......

Do a search here & on the other site. Many threads, basically Jet A & Low number JP fuels are very, very dry kerosene. Will run no prob, but produces less energy & I would definitely add 2 stroke or other lubricant.
