Which is better and why? I just changed my oil and used Mobil-1 Delvac and saw that it was CI-4 rated and then I look at new Delo-400 and it is CJ-4 rated. What's the diff?????

 

CI-4+ is better oil. The CJ-4 is the ashless oil for the new EGR diesels. You can use either fine as long as you have short change intervals. THe CI-4+ has higher levels of things like zinc and calcium that help lubricate and dissolve acids. There are many threads that explain it a lot better than I just did. use the search feature.
