I have an 06 quad cab 2wd dually with the 48re auto. I recently put an S&B intake on it with a diablosport preditor programmer. It runs great and I have it on the 100hp setting but it's throwing a check engine light. When I pull the code with the programmer it says that it can't find any codes. Any ideas

My Smarty/truck does this quite often. I clear the code that is not there, and the CEL goes away.

yeah i have tried the key thing and a code popped up and was gone before i could see it. then i tried to do it again and it did not show up again. i have cleared the code that is "not" there with the programmer and the light comes back on. i check it again using the code reader and again tells me that there is nothing there. pretty strange so far.

Have you tried disconnecting the batteries and letting it sit for 20 minutes? Ground the system out by pressing the brake before you hook the batteries back up.

Might work, may not.
