Check Your Motor Mounts

CHECK YOUR ENGINE MOUNTS!!! Mine look good from the outside but I have been fighting a vibration and a rough front end for a few years. I finally noticed every time I start from a stop the hood shakes noticeably. I opened the hood and put foot on brake and 2nd gear and let off the clutch and the **** motor on the drivers side JUMPED about 2-3 inches. Passenger side was tight. I had someone else in the seat and I watched it closely and the mount is fine, but the rubber where the bolt runs through must be damaged or worn as the bolt is tight and the movement is as if the rubber is worn on the inside where the bolt goes......So dealer says $105 for the entire mount, I'll keep you posted...

Yeah, mileage, weather location, and driving conditions of your rig? Thanks for the heads up.
