"check guages" light blinks........
I have noticed many, many times (every 6 to 7 minutes of travel) that my check guages light will light up for about 2 seconds and go off. But there is never any codes thrown. Does anyone else notice this? Any ideas on what I should check?

where is your oil pressure at when the light turns on? My 03 did that when i would have a rapid slow down, gauge would fall too low and light would flash on and then back off. Just a thought.

I notice it mostly when I have the cruise set and steady driving at night. That is when the bright red flash will catch my eye, but I have noticed it during the day. And the oil pressure and all other guages read fine. There are no problems with anything that I know of. No guages tremble around or anything, they all read very steady.

Thanks SilverRam. I will get that done, it seems to be my problem. I guess I needed a reason to remove my Edge Juice so I can send it out for the HOT upgrade!!!

Sounds like a scarry TSB especially since my truck has a smarty, mp8, sb turbo, and is still under "warranty" even though I'm hoping I dont need to take it and get it back all messed up and the truck running like ...not good. and then get red flagged for future warranty work even though it wasnt in there for a warranty claim.
Is my idea correct, just deal with it instead of risking a bunch of problems.
