Check engine light on but no communication from ECM
My truck suddenly developed a Check Engine Light.
Performance has been reduced considerably but it's still driveable, and I towed my 30 ft boat for 200 miles with no problem.
Toke it to my mechanic, they plugged a Chrysler scan too and had no communication issues with ECM, then tried with the standard SnapOn and still could not communicate with engine.
They spent some time trying to figure it out then gave up.
I tried disconnecting batteries, etc but no luck at all, truck runs fine but lost some power. I cleaned MAP and IAT sensors, no luck.
