Cheapest turbo upgrade...
So I am looking to upgrade my turbo, what would be the cheapest way to do it? Would a hybrid work or just buying a new one? Would the stock turbo work in a set of twins? I am looking at the possibility of adding injectors to my current set-up in the future and want to make sure I am moving enough air. thanks

what do you want to do with the truck?
no your stocker wont work in twins. a hx-35 will work though. you have an hy35.
a hybrid is probably the cheapest route, depending on what you wanna do?

Any turbo will work in twins, some just don't work very well. The hy with a big external wastegate and something like a k-31 under it would make a really quick spooling set of twins but not alot of horsepower. You are going to notice a real slowdown in spool with almost any turbo going from a hy. The 04.5 and up turbo might work good, I've got one I'm fixin to try if I can get the time.
