Ya know, that is not a bad project! I'm calling the motor toast, tranny good, truck & interior good. Slip a rebuilt 12V and you are good to go. How much for a rebuilt 12V?

replacement
The cheapest replacement engine I found was 2500, from goparts, and they arent "rebuilt" they are drag drop and prey lol... and they are 91-92 year Cummins. I found one for 5 k rebuilt. But they guy states it was " HE IS SELLING IT, BECAUSE THE TRUCK IS GETTING TO BE TOO MUCH, AND IT WAS ALSO USED AS A WORK TRUCK" lol sounds like he drove it hard and put it away really hot.... and uh yeah. He might have ground it into the dirt and hopefully will pass it along to another poor soul. I am untrusting on most people that try to sell stuff on ebay, golden rule I remember is it if it seems too good to be true it is. But hey if you had your son wreck yours or drive it into a Pond, like my brother did to my moms truck a few years back.... it would be perfect...!
