hi there i decided to keep my 1994 dodge diesel 4x4 , i noticed today that when i;m driving along i here chchchchc as soon as i hit the brake the sound is gone , than it comes back again doesn;t do it all the time , i am going to bring the truck into my mechanic and see if something is broken in front end , if anyone has had this problem feel free to chime in

maybe a wheel bearing, my dads 99 2wd was growling when you would start into a left turn and you could step on the brake and it would stop. the bearing ended up being full of rust.
