Changing Diff Fluids - Frustrated

Issue 1: Changed the front diff fluid last night. Thought I had done everything properly. Found a drip this morning coming from the bottom of the pumpkin. Re-torqued all the bolts and still weeping/dripping.
Issue 2: Cannot get the drain plug out of the Mag Hytec on the rear diff. I've broken 2 bits, wacked the plug repeatedly to try and loosen it and even tried to use a set to break it free.
Help! Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I can help with issue 1, but not issue 2. I just changed my diff fluid with synthetic (amsoil). I used permatex black and permatex #2. Both leaked. I guess the different properties of synthetic make it harder to keep in the pumpkin. I luckily ran into a ASE certified mechanic at the auto store. He said to use permatex ultra grey. He was right. No more leaks.

Use Mopar gray silicone never had a cover leak. Try removing plug when rear diff is warm after driving for several miles. The plug might come out easier. If not you can always remove the cover to drain fluid. Don't overtighten the plug 15 inch pounds torque only.
