Changing 6 Speed tranny fluid
If i change my tranny fluid will it smooth out the shifts. Like first to second seems kind of rough and second to third is a little rough. Would changing the tranny fluid smooth them out. What should i swap in instead of the tranny fluid from DC?

lots of guys on here claim better, smoother shifts from using Amsoil....I have not changed mine yet but when I do it will be Amsoil...any synthetic should help, but I am a Amsoil cheerleader......

MMMmmmm.... Grits!!
I just went back with the ATF+4. At 42k it was getting "grabby", but I have owned a NV5600 and this G56 shifts so much better it's hard for me to complain. Just remember that it's a truck tranny and not a sports car or economy car tranny. The forks are mounted to a common rail unlike most trannys. It's so much more direct and precise, I can shift it with two fingers.

You can order it off www.amsoil.com and purchase the membership thing, that will allow you to get it at the price of what the dealers pay for it.
