Change Oil from Synthetic back to Dino

I have heard that once you start using 100% syn oil that you can not go back to regular oil. I've read some (not all) the threads re: using syn. At my infant stage, I'm not getting into the discussion of which is better - syn vs. dino

If I use 100% syn at the next oil change, then later decide to go back to regular dino, are there any issues with that? Has anyone done that?

thanks.

No issues at all whatsoever. Syn oil will loosen up sludge in the engine so if you switched BACK to Synthetic I might run a shorter interval the first time before changing it. I have gone back and forth with no problems and great UOA's.

You can swap back and forth as much as you'd like.

As much as you'd like! That was the old synthetics. Doesn't matter now.

Very Good Advice about doing a short OCI after using regular and going back to group 4 or 5 synthetic oil.
