CFM + and boost guage

hey guys,
ive had my cfm+ installed on my truck for a while now and love it but i just went and put a super b turbo in and want to install a boost guage but where the hell do i put it where its plastic i dont dare drill and tap it so what do i do it has a nub on the bottom with what looks like a port but what do i do with it does the middle need to be drilled out?

you shouldnt drill into it thats for sure. you can weld a bung into the intercooler pipe or your heater grid.

Better yet, use the NPT holes in the side of the head that aren't used. Or you could just tee off of your AFC signal line. No drilling, and cheap to do.

Look at the head right next to the injection pump. Be much easier to see without the injection lines and airhorn in place. You will see the boost signal line coming out of the head going to the AFC. You will see other ports like that along that side of the head. You may also have a big plug in the top of the intake manifold plate (my '94 does, my '98 doesn't) that you could pull and get a reducer for. Go to the 12v section, Infidel and Dr. Evil have both posted pictures recently of the spots.

My CFM+ was tapped in three locations. My boost is in the back of the CFM+. Hey Powermad when you get your drag comp, let me know if you want to sell you edge comp......

im just going to turn mine in and get the new version loaded. if i dont like it im going to get the adrenaline. and then it will be up for sale.
