Center my axle? new 3" lift kit...

OK, so we all think we've got an emergency... mine comes from finally buying my dream pickup, plus time installing a lift and then having "issues along the way, which I'm still not out of the woods just yet...

I've just installed a BDS 3" suspension lift and now noticed that on the driver's side, the axle is significantly shifted toward the rear. I called BDS and they say the radius arms are adjustable, the alignment shop however, says they aren't and won't touch the pickup as is. Hmmm... Anybody got any ideas for where I need to be looking at?

Longer arms are one option, but the arms a have seen only move it 1/2" forward to accomodate about 2" of lift. DT Pro-fab makes them and there may be others.

Your trackbar will also need adjusted since I'm sure it is pulling your axle towards the drivers side with your lift. There are more options for adjustable trackbars. I personally use Thuren.

toward the rear? measure the control arms (all four!) and compare tops and bottoms. pictures would be great. adjustable arms would be very obvious-- heim joints (or some other threaded joint for adjustability) as opposed to a standard bushing. maybe you got one arm for a differnet application? My Skyjacker arms are 1/2" longer for a 4.5" lift and I run 37" tires with zero rubbing, but I don't go wheeling either!
