Question CD player difficult, burned personal disks

Hi All,

i have been burning some of my personal CD music to play in my truck, and prevent the kids from destrying the originals.

The burnt ones take a few minutes for the player (stock) to read it. It then plays fine but you cant forward to the next song or it will take forever to read it again.

Is this normal? It works in all my other players no problem?

Cheers

stock cd player sucks for burnt cd's you can buy a bottom line 150 dollar pioneer or kenwood unit,it will sound better and play burnt cd's ................

for a few bucks more you can upgrade to mp3 and put like 7 hours on one disk
