CCd display on over head!?

Twice in the last week when i start my truck I get this CCd reading on my over head display. It appears on every setting except Engine run time and cant be erased or cleared by holding the two buttons down for reset. After 5-10 minutes it goes away and the over head works fine. Owners manual says nothing about this CCd reading.. Anyone know what the deal is?

CCd on the overhead console means that the console is not getting any message from the computer. CCd stands for Chrysler Collision Detect, which refers to the bus that all of the sensors and gauges pull information from. If you're not having any issues with your instrument cluster, it may just be a bad connection on the plug from the overhead console.

That plug in should be right around the fuse panel inside the dash. Don't remember the exact location and don't have my truck around to go look.

THe last time mine did this I thought it meant Ccd for Check Codes, and sure enough my truck had thrown a couple. I know this isn't what it means but thought it strange that both times my truck has had codes thrown the overhread did this. It also went from bright to dim intermittently while all this went on until it reset bavck to the compass and temp.
