Who cares about power, looking for MPG

my landlord asked me the other day about if a chip or programmer would h elp his mileage. I'm a 12v guy so know nothing about which ones work better than others. He has an 04 4x4 dually he loads a 9 or 10' slide in camper in and pulls a small boat behind. He only drives 60 mph on the highways and isn't looking for any more power per say, just whatever can help increase his mileage. Every local shop has told him one brand or another but sounds like just sales pitches. Figured would ask what has worked best for people that have similar drving styles. Thanks

i think the quadzilla products should give him what he's looking for.
Otherwise I'd say a smarty, but I'm a 12v guy too.

Tell em to look on ebay for an Quadzilla, Edge, TST, or smarty.
and buy the cheapest one.
lol!

I would say he is a perfect canidate for the Max Mileage Module by Quadzilla, and the price cannot be beat.

have you guys tried those and what results did you find? He said he is more of a fan of the programmer idea so he doesn't have to install anything on the truck but if its worth t he is game for either

smarty on level 1. I just got back from a trip and went from ALbuquerque to San DIego (2007 miles round trip), was traveling 80+ most of the way and got 18.7 mpg and my truck aint small. I was happy.

I have had good luck with the set up i have, stock empty i was getting 19-22mpg @ 65, with the edge, intake and 4" out back i am up to 24-28 @ 65. I have a 12,000lb trailer i pull and setting cruse at 70 i will average 14 or so. The thing i like about the power is never taking it off cruse, big hills pulling the trailer are no longer any issue, the MPG is a bonus that has already paid off the mods, i started playing with about 60,000km and am at 140k now, no problems.
