CARB EO sticker needed on K&N air intake for smog test?
Tried to search but couldn't find if anyone that has been through the smog test in cali had to have a CARB EO sticker for there K&N intake? Since I didn't get hit with smog last year I'm preparing for it this year. Thanks in advance for any advice.

If it isn't OE it will require a CARB certification, if they go by the book. Depends on the guy doing the looking. Too subjective to make a solid determination of pass\fail.

bonus is correct. It's a bit different for diesels. I went through it a few months ago without problems. There's quite a few things that DO NOT require a carb sticker. Intakes and air intake elbows are 2 that come to mind right away.
