Will the 2007 6.7 relief valve fit the 5.9 rail?....It is good for a little higher pressure like 1600psi more or something close to that. When the manufacturer raises the pressure level...it must have some positive benefits. ks

Mine is capped cause I blew my RV and it was cheap and I was in a tight.

Cons, there is no cusion for you injectors. You can crack injectors with a RV in place but I guess it is less likely. With a cap you have no give. I assume this is common knowledge but that is the only cons I can see.

So far no problems with mine, but if I had one I would run a RV. Besides the hp, that is one reason I am set on Flux injectors, less likely to crack a tip.

Take the bolt out of the top, move the line out of the way, take the rv itself out, then replace with the "cap", the put the line back in place, and replace bolt on top.

If you need some more help shoot me a pm and I can give you my #. It is very simple.

do the relief valves on these trucks re-seat themselves?? If not how do you tell if you blew one?

No, they do not reset themselves. My truck shut off and would not crank back up. At first I did not know that was the cause, but the blown rv was the problem.

Also if you have a rail guage, if you can t get pressure as high as it should then your rv could be goin south. If you are loosin power up top, another indication.
