Can you convert a 2" lift to a 4"+?

Ok hears the deal. Some of you might have heard. I have a 2" susp lift. Spacers up front and an extra leaf in the back. My dad decided he wants to one up me with a 4.5" from someplace. Is it possable to convert what I have to a 4" or more lift? What would I need excluding the shocks. While I'm at it I have an extra steering stabilizer. Think I need it if I ever find a set of 35-37" tires? If so How do I add the second one on.

what would happen if you just added the d25 skyjacker springs on top of the spacers I need an add a leaf in my back. what is the best and cheapest way to add an 1" or so in the back?

I thought about that. But would I need longer controll arms and break line extensiions? and how would I lift the back?

Captain:
You can add a lift spring to the front to add lift and put a new spring pack in the rear or a larger lift block. You will need a longer lower control at the least and possibly a longer upper as well. The brakelines will be fine.
As far as the stabilizer, I would recommend just replacing the stock one for a beefier Skyjacker one instead of fabbing up mounts for another stock one.

I'll have to look into that. Do you think that D25 spring or wahtever that people were talking about for the 2" lift under my 2" block would work? And who do you suggest for new controll arms?

I would go with a 2-3" Skyjacker spring with the spacer and you can buy rancho extended control arms but I would personally buy the Skyjacker components. That's a bracket that bolts to the axle on each side, both pairs of control arms (upper and lower), a drop bracket for the track bar, and a dropped pitman arm. This will keep all the geometry happy. You would call a Skyjacker dealer (4 wheel parts) and ask for a "front box kit".
If you want to keep it cheap, you could just add the springs to your spacers, get the Rancho control arms and it would probably be fine.
Make sure you get it aligned.
