Can wires for edge pyro get mixed up?

Can you accidentally mix up the wires for the edge juice attitude. Some say my pyro readings are off. I think they were 2 seperate colors so i matched them up. would wires being mixed up throw pyro out?

If i cruise at 65 mph highway i get between 650 and 800 degrees celcius (is it celcius or fahrenheit on the attitude). When i punch it to floor and pass It QUICKLY reads 1300 ish but then BACKS OFF QUICKLY the instant i let foot off floor

I wouldn't think you could get the wires mixed up. You are right, they are color coded and it sounds like you're readings are correct. I run my Edge on lvl 1 and when I stomp on it, it will quickly jump up to 1350, where i have it set to back down. It will go over the 1350 some but not by far. As long as your not running that hot for a long stretch, 3-4 minutes, I think you will be fine, normally those hot bursts only last 10 seconds or so. Hope this helps

no tranny codes or problems. no codes at all. to be honest truck seems strong. Could it be tranny slippage and then instantaneous bursts of egts?between shifts?
